We’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager to define how we tell our story and win in the market.
This is not a traditional product marketing role.
You will be the strategic fuel behind how Spot AI goes to market, owning the story, the customer profile, and the narrative that powers our direct sales motion and scales across our ecosystem. You are a storyteller, category builder, and market expert who works across product, sales, and partners to build the narrative engine that drives real pipeline and revenue.
Your assignment.
Own the Story.
Define and evolve the core narrative for Spot AI: what we are, who we serve, and why we win
Build and maintain Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) for manufacturing, retail, logistics and construction
Translate complex product capabilities into crisp, compelling messages for buyers, sellers, and partners
Act as an evangelist for video AI and the future of physical security and operations
Fuel the sales engine.
Create the content, tools, and playbooks that enable our sales team to move deals forward
Develop use cases, case studies, and proof points that resonate with ICP buyers
Partner directly with sales to understand objections, sharpen messaging, and improve win rates
Design scaled enablement kits that help internal teams and the broader ecosystem tell a consistent story
Drive Category Creation.
Help define and own the category of AI coworkers for the physical world
Build positioning that differentiates Spot AI in a fast-moving market
Develop thought leadership content that earns attention and builds credibility
Work closely with product to ensure the roadmap and the story are aligned
Scale through the ecosystem.
Work one-on-one with key partners to co-create value propositions, stories, and use cases specific to their customer base
Develop scaled enablement materials that give partners everything they need to bring in ICP deals
Serve as a strategic resource for partners without requiring deep partner marketing experience; the story is yours to tell
Move fast and iterate.
Run rapid experiments across messaging, positioning, and content formats
Use data and sales feedback to learn quickly and double down on what works
Build AI into your workflow to move faster, generate insight, and improve output quality
Who you are.
You are a storyteller, a systems thinker, and a builder.
You will:
Have experience owning positioning, messaging, or go-to-market strategy with clear examples of what you built and how it performed
Have used AI to meaningfully accelerate your own work: research, content, insight generation
Have worked in B2B product marketing in a startup or growth-stage environment
Know how to write for buyers, not just internal audiences
Think in terms of customer problems and journeys, not just product features
Are energized by building from scratch without a clear playbook
Are analytical, opinionated, and comfortable making calls with incomplete information
And, you might be an especially strong candidate if you:
Have experience in a startup or category-defining company where the playbook was still being written
Have worked in or marketed to industries like manufacturing, logistics, retail, or construction
Are a driven, hungry builder who is more motivated by figuring things out than executing a known formula
This role may be a strong fit if you:
Love building the story and maintaining it alongside business needs
Want to own outcomes (win rates, partner activations), not just content calendars
Are comfortable moving between writing a one-pager and sitting in a strategic planning session
Think in terms of the customer, the market, and the category, not just the product
This role is likely not a fit if you:
Prefer a defined scope and established systems
Have primarily worked in large organizations where positioning and messaging were already built
Want to manage a team before building the foundation yourself
Compensation and benefits.
Annual Base Salary Range: $140,000 - $155,000. The offered salary will depend on your location within the U.S. and your demonstrated skills and competencies for the role. Your recruiter will provide the specific range for your area as you progress through the interview process.
Meaningful early stage equity
Medical, dental and vision plan options with little-to-no cost for employees and dependents
Company paid short- and long-term disability plans
Company paid life insurance
